Page Rank is a tool created by Larry Page and Sergey Brin to determine which sites are more popular and deserves to be displayed on the main page of google search engine. Page rank is calculated from 0 - 10. The higher its page rank, more popular the site in search engine pages.
Blogs that have a high page rank will usually get a better position in search engine than a blog which has a low page rank. For example: A site has Page Rank 7 will be ranked first in Google's search pages compared with sites that have page rank of 6, 5 and lower Page Rank. So the possibility of such sites visited by Internet users increases. Therefore, the advertiser prefer to promote products or services on blogs that have high Page Rank compared with low Page Rank. In other words the higher the page rank of your blog, It will gets easier for you to make money on the internet.
There are many ways to use the Google search engine to determine the ranking of a web. As the use of Meta Tags, the emphasis on unique content, inbound links, and other techniques. Link popularity is a technique developed to correct deficiencies in the technical Meta Tags (Meta Keywords, Meta Description), which can be cheated by designing a special page for search engine called doorway pages.
Google generally updates their Page Rank in three months. It should be noted that Page Rank given on every page of your blog, not only on the home address of a blog, so each page of your blog has Page Rank. But mostly bloggers only consider the value of the home address of the Page Rank on their blog.
